Antique absinthe glass likely dating to 19th century with traditional absinthe spoon.
The very heavy glass (453 grams) is mouth blown with characterful imperfections including tiny bubbles in glass.
The spoon: there is a notch in the handle of the flat slotted spoon so it can rest on the rim of the glass. Traditionally sugar would have been placed on the spoon so that it would dissolve in the absinthe.
An unique and stylish piece. A great talking point.
