Vintage Gold painted terracotta sculpture of a lion's head mounted on board.

Metal plaque of the name of the artist: 'Le Roi du desert' (The King of the desert) par E Houff de la Société des artistes francais (By E Houff of the French society of artists).

Includes a hook at back of plaque for hanging.

Vintage condition commensurate with age including small chips to terracotta & one more noticeable chip on left side of mane (please see photos). There are also some signs of wear on wooden plaque (pleas e see photos)
